Sandy Oregon Activity Night Community Dinner

Sandy Activity Night along with DD & MH Provider of Oregon is excited to announce that we are now offering a free community dinner every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.This is operated by employees of DD & MH Provider of Oregon and our Clients, Volunteers, donations from Sandy Community Action Center, and the Community Church of Sandy by allowing us to use there beautiful kitchen and dining area. It offers people a free warm meal, a cup of coffee, socializing, and a bit of love. Anyone is welcome, not just the good folks here in Sandy.It will be held at the Community Church of Sandy at 39290 Scenic St, Sandy, OR 97055. We will be entering from the North side of the church and up the ramp.

(SAN) Sandy Oregon Activity Night 

This group was created for the Intellectual/developmental Disability Community of Sandy Oregon/Clackamas County to create a pathway to build friendships and connections. I have been a professional in t his field for the past 12 years. My vision is to be a resource for families, whether it’s connecting with social services, connecting to the DD community or if you need an ear to listen. I believe that a strong community makes strong families. This is potluck style, so please bring something to share with everyone. This group is for All ages with All abilities.We provide crafts, games, pizza, and refreshments. Sandy’s Activity Night  1st & 3rd Monday of the month.From 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sandy Senior Community Center  38348 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055. This is a free event, $5 donations are always welcome, but not required. Bowling at Mount Hood Lanes 2nd, 4th, and 5th  Monday of the month 4-5:30 $2.5 per game and free rental shoes.  2311 E Powell Blvd, Gresham, OR 97080. Sandy’s Actors Theater

This Theater is handicap accessible and has supported the DD/ID community for many years now. The Sandy Activity Night attends there entertaining shows, and they allow for Support Workers to support the people who they work for by accessing the show for free. Please join us this next season, and I be will posting the days we will be attending as a group in the calendar. Some shows are not all age appropriate so please go to the there website and read there synopsis, if you still have questions don’t hesitate to contact me.
